So, I'm in the market for an amp-modeling software currently. I just bought an interface not too long ago, I've recorded a few things with it, guitar and bass. I have plenty of guitar effects and pedals and whatnot, but I would really like to find a good amp modeling software package somewhere. I've used sans amp and eleven free in protools, and they sound okay, but I really need something more. I used to own the Line 6 Pod modeler but it was pretty mediocre. Do you have any suggestions for a good amp modeler that is affordable? Or possibly free from the internet somewhere? I need some good, high-gain tones, some crunchy, metal tones, stuff like that.
